- Type of documents needing notarization
Identity Verification & Notarization
We verify the signer’s identity using valid identification (as required by California law), ensure the signer is willing and aware, and complete the notarization.
The signer must:
- Present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, etc.), or provide two credible witnesses if permitted.
- Fully understand the contents and purpose of the document.
- Sign voluntarily and be able to independently write their own name without assistance.
- Be mentally alert and not impaired by alcohol, drugs, medications, or any substance that could affect judgment, awareness, or the ability to make informed decisions.
